About

Hey there, I’m Lex!

Audhio exists because the alternatives weren’t good enough. Here’s the longer version.

Your story goes here. A few paragraphs about who you are, what it was like trying to read with ADHD, and what specifically frustrated you about the existing tools.

Why you built Audhio instead of just accepting the alternatives. What was the specific thing you wanted that didn’t exist?

What Audhio is today, what you’re working on, and what you care about getting right.

What Audhio is

Audhio is a Chrome extension that reads any webpage aloud with synchronized word highlighting. Every word is highlighted in real time as it’s spoken, so your eyes and ears stay on the same word. It works on articles, course pages, documentation, Wikipedia, anything with text.

It’s not a reading app that wants you to import your content into its interface. You’re already on the page. You hit play. That’s it.

The free plan includes everything: all four AI voices, speed control, word highlighting, keyboard shortcuts. The only thing that’s gated is listening time — 30 minutes a month on free, unlimited on Pro. If $9.99/month isn’t doable, the Audhio Access program exists for exactly that reason.

What it isn’t

Audhio isn’t a VC-backed startup with a growth team optimizing for retention metrics. It’s an independent product built by one person who had a problem and wanted to fix it properly.

That means decisions here are made differently. The voices aren’t locked behind paywalls because that would make the tool worse for the people who need it most. The Audhio Access program exists because the alternative, turning away someone who can’t afford $9.99, isn’t acceptable.

It also means this is a small operation. If something breaks, I’m fixing it. If you have a feature request, I’m reading it.
